My family just returned last night from a 6 day trip to WDW. Best tips I can give if you are going in the next 2 weeks is be at parks early and have a plan. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask. BTW, we had a great trip!:cool1:

Glad to see you had fun!! Here are my questions: How early did you get there? Were you able to get fast passes for most of the rides and how were the lines? Did you stay on Disney property and if so, how was the transit system? These are all the questions I can think of right now. We'll be going for the first time soon, so I'm trying to plan. TIA!

Happy to hear you had a great time:) What was the best meal you had? Any food pictures?

We arrived at MK and DHS about 45 min. before the park opened. It really paid off at DHS. We were at the front of the crowd at rope drop and were escorted by castmembers to toy story. We were able to ride 3 times (once with a FP) in about an hour and a half. We found most ride times were over estimated.

Crowds were very manageable until yesterday. We went back to DHS for a few hours and the crowds were much heavier than 2 days before. Wait times were double earlier in the day and FP were gone by 2:00.

We went to Epcot the first day and didn't arrive untill noon. We got FP for soarin then rode TT twice with a 20' wait each time. Walked on almost everything else.

MK it poured the first hour and a half which may have influenced the crowd level. We walked on POTC, haunted mansion, snow white, its a small world, then when splash mt. and BTMR opened, we rode them both twice with only about a 5 min. wait. Got FP for BTMR for later and rode buzz and Space mt. with 20' wait each.

Animal Kingdom was busier but got there an hour after opening and walked on EE twice, and dinosaur.

We stayed at the Dolphin. The boat was very efficient to Epcot, DHS and the boardwalk. The bus system seemed to be less efflicient. But they got us where we needed to be with the exception of one night when we were waiting to go to the contemporary for dinner. Found out later that a girl was killed in the contemporary parking lot by a MK bus so all traffic in and out of the resort was stopped for several hours. Hard to get upset about missing ADRs when something so horrible happens to another family.

No food pics but I would say the best meal was at Spoodles on the Boardwalk. My DH had red snapper and one DS had calamari and loved it. Most of our other meals were buffets (yuck) or burgers and sandwiches.

How early do you suggest to arrive before rope drop?
