We ate. I posted it also on the restaurant board too.

We flew down Wed. afternoon on the 26th of Jan. and returned on Wed. Feb. 2nd. Here is where we ate and what we liked and what we thought was just so so.

Magic Kingdom Thursday/Sunday/Tuesday- We ate at these places: We did the character breakfast at CP and had PS for 8:10. . It was very good. We would eat there again. They had a huge buffet with two sides going........there was never a crowd at either side. They had the usual eggs....scrambled a couple of ways, sausage, biscuits, sausage gravy, grits, hash browns, bacon, Pooh and Tigger Waffles, pastries, fresh fruit, coffee cake and more. Plus we were already close to the major attractions when we finished eating. The character interaction was pretty good…although it did take them a while to circle around. WE never did have Eeyore to our table.

We tried the chicken strips at Harbor House and they were okay. To me nothing special but maybe the other menu items are good.

Casey’s was good….the kids loved the corndog nuggets and the fries were the best in the park. We loved the cheese sauce you can get from their small fixins bar to dip them in.

We had lunch at Cosmic Rays. Now that place was packed big time. They have three different counter service places in there.......and they all serve something different. So you would have to go to all three if something interested you at each. I would have loved something from the 1st counter...they had roasted chicken but the kids were starving, the lines were long..........and they wanted burgers and hotdogs..so we got the hamburgers from the middle counter. The fixin bar was packed. I was all stressed out just trying to get to it. I will never eat there again atleast not at high noon.....don't like the set up. I don't like having to stand in three different lines to get what all your family would really like to eat. The kids meals are pretty much at the hamburger/hotdog counter. So we settled for the hamburger lines. The hamburgers were not that great. Would not eat the burgers again.

The bakery and sweets shop on Main Street had yummy desserts. We tried stuff from both. Would do that again for sure. LOL

Epcot Friday/Tuesday- We ate at the restaurant inside Mexico for a late lunch. We were seated right by the water in front of the volcano. Now....we have excellent Mexican food here where I live. My husband and I thought it was so so. We would probably not eat here again. I got a combination meal and both he and my daughter got the nachos. Lots of food..........but for the price we wouldn't eat there again. It was just okay. The Cheese Fundido was not what we get here. Not worth the price for that appetizer at all. IT was sooooooooo dark. WE could barely read the menus in there. The kids meal selection was lacking......my little guy wanted a taco but all they had were chicken nuggets and stuff like that. I think there was a chicken/cheese quesadia (spelling??) but he didnt' want anything with chicken in it. Now we did eat at the counter service outside Mexico for dinner our last night on Tuesday and loved that. We would eat there again. We usually eat there each trip anyway.

We got some pizza from a little stand near Test Track…..that was decent. I guess we enjoyed the Mexican counter service better than the restaurant. My husband loves the bratwurst type sandwiches in Germany but never got one this trip.

MGM Sat/Mon- Ate at the Sci Fi for lunch. I would not eat here again. It was okay food......high prices and not worth it to us. The kids liked it....but I just feel like you can get a better meal at another MGM place. I had the grilled chicken sandwich...my husband the reuben. He liked it okay but not enough to eat there again. Oh we did have some pizza and salad at the Pizza place that was Buzz Lightyear themed....forget the name of that place. It was counter service and it was decent. Would eat that again.

Prime Time Café- That was our favorite meal at MGM ever. It was very good…prices were good…food was good and the service was good and fun too. We would eat here our next trip. I had the fried chicken and my husband the meatloaf. He thought it was great.

Sunday night:
That night we took the boat over to Fort Wilderness and ate at the Trails End Buffet. We liked it...it had REAL FOOD....ribs, carved ham, fish, fried chicken, veggies, mashed pot. mac/cheese, chili, soups, corn bread, biscuits, salad bar and more. The atmosphere is family oriented and we enjoyed this meal.

On Monday we were at AK and ate at the Flame Tree Barbecue. We liked this...would eat there again. My husband got the pork sandwich, me the beef....we cut them in half and shared. We decided the beef was the best.

Tuesday we ate breafast at Chef Mickey's and IT WAS WONDERFUL. I liked this food buffet better than CP....but CP was very good too. I loved the atmosphere....the characters were quick to come right over....didn't wait long at all. This is a must do every trip. I think everyone should do Chef Mickeys. It was perfect in my opinion. There ia a huge selection.....the best breakfast we have eaten in all of our trips. We did the dinner there in Nov. of 2002.

That is about it....we had snacks throughout the park.....the bakery shop and sweets shop in MK is YUMMY. I had some choc. cake from the bakery and fudge another day from the sweets shop on Main Street. One morning we ate some donuts and cheese danish at the food shop at the Poly before boarding the monorail. We stayed at Shades OF Green..so we took the monorail from there when we went to EC or MK.

We ate breakfast 3 times at our hotel breakfast buffet….it was cheap and just okay. It wasn’t Disney breakfast by any means….but it sufficed for the price. The kids were 4.99 and adults 7.99. We also ate a sandwich at the Sports Grill there the first night we were there.....not bad...just a limited menu....but cheap.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
