Hello!
Just a quick post from me today with a few bits from our two weeks at WDW! I will be doing a full trip review soon!
THE GOOD
The family and the holiday. Had a great laugh, love getting together with my family. 10 of us went over, we've had no fall outs, plenty of laughs, jokes and a whole lot of dancing!
Universal Studios. Best theme park by far on this holiday. Rip ride rocket lived up to its reputation as a great ride.
The queues. The longest line I've stood in for a ride was 60 mins for soarin but apart from that they have all been no more than 20 minutes, which for August really surprised us.
The shopping. Everything seemed a lot cheaper than last time I went in 2010. The best part was an extra 30% off your bill in the Ralph Lauren outlet.
Food. Had some great meals at house of blues, bahama breeze and TGI Fridays. Only had one bad meal at the Angus steakhouse.
THE BAD
The flight back. Had a lot of turbulence from the winds behind us which made for a bumpy flight.
Waiting. Wen our in a group of ten you do find yourself doing a lot of waiting around for people and I've certainly had that in Florida but you just sort of get on with it.
The weather. We have had at least one storm everyday, cutting short some of our days at various parks.
Harry Potter. I was expecting so much more. It felt really small and uncomfortable to be in. I also thought the ride was a abit bad. I didn't like how I could see all th either people on the ride in other carriages, just sort of took away from the whole experience of the ride.
That's about it for now, it's all I can think of. I have had a fantastic time and now can't wait to go back. Best bet saving!!!!!
