Just got back from the Orioles game

I took the day off work today and went to the Orioles-Rangers game in Baltimore. Fantastic day for baseball! Wish they could've played 2. Loads of fun Do I really have to go back to work tomorrow?

Lucky you! Our entire family watched the O's win yesterday. It too was a beautiful day. After the game we walked around the Inner Harbor.
We were in the nose bleed section - otherwise known as the dugout club section - way up above left field. It didn't matter. Just being there was great.
Snoopy & other MD/VA/DC area DISers with children - this year the "Easter Bunny" brought our boys Dugout Club memberships. For $15 each received an O's baseball & cap plus admission to 9 different games. Each member is also entitled to up to 2 add'l tickets for $5.00 each. We have been to two games & have tickets to 2 more - the other's didn't fit our schedule. We have found this to be a great deal & great fun. I highly recommend it.

Hmmm... I'll have to look into that. My daughter *loves* to go to games. She wasn't happy that I went to a game while she's at her mom's. Had to spend 20 mins on the phone with her assuring her we'd go to several games before the year is over.

We go to an occasional Orioles game. Used to have 13 game season ticket plan. Maybe next year we should plan a DIS meet at an Orioles game. Get DIS up on the big announcement board.

Been there, done that. Our first game this year was a Yankee's game back in June. Yes, they won . The Yankee's are oldest DS's favorite team. (O's are 2nd) I offered him to a family of Yankee's fans before the game. It took the poor kid 'til the 5th inning to admit he was still rooting for the Yankees. Guess he thought I'd really send him to live in NYC with stangers. Poor kid.
