I have mixed feelings about the movie. I wish I had visited www.screenit.com as mentioned by Dan Murphy on another thread!!!! The web site tells you like it is from a parents point of view.
Anyway, dh and I took the kids ages 11 and 9 to the movie today. We wanted to see it because of the fond memories we had of the Haunted Mansion at WDW.
The movie starts out with tarot cards floating around with photos of full frontal nudity of a man and woman among other cards. Of course the kids picked up on this right away which made me wonder why Disney had to put that in. The story was good, the effects were great but the bad language was a little too much for my taste.
I know the movie was pg, but I expected a little better from Disney since parents would be taking their kids of elementary age to this movie.
I just feel Disney has tried to push the envelope lately with movies marketed towards kids with all kinds of "over the top" material snuck into the films.
Just my opinion.
