We stayed in room 9783. We were only about a 3-5 min walk from the food court and main pool. Our room was even more amazing then the pictures!! It just seemed so magical!! On our second night I realized the bed was broken and called down to house keeping to let them know. Even told them it wasn't that big a deal I just wanted to let them know. Within 10 min someone from maintenance was up to fix the bed. They had to go get a whole new boxspring from the warehouse and were back within 30 min. We had to ask for extra towels 2 times and they were brought within 10 min!! Disney was really on their game this trip!! My only dislike was that the shower and toilet were in the same room as the sinks. With 4 adults it was an inconvenience for us at times. We managed though! Over all I LOVE the royal rooms! Totally worth the upgrade!

Thanks for the review! Glad you had a good time and had a good room location. This is always important to my family also to be near the main building. ANd yes, those royal rooms do looks beautiful! I would love to stay there. :)

Just another resort to add onto my long list!!! ;)

You stated that the sinks were in the same room as the toilet and shower. I thought they were outside it, as they are in all Moderates.

Yep! They were all in one room! I have stayed at POR and POFQ before and it was seperate so maybe it's just the Royal Rooms! Since it was two couples it wasnt too bad except for when someone needed to go to the bathroom! (we are not go to the bathroom in front of our spouses kinda people lol)

You must have gotten a wheelchair-accessible room, I think they are the ones where the sink is in the same room with shower and toilet.

All the handicapped accessible rooms have the large open shower/toilet/sink area and then an armoire (instead of the closet area).

That is most likely what they had. They must have been fully booked.

may I ask what room cat you were in? riverview, waterview, standard, garden? I am a little nervous about the walk back to the main building for drink refills etc with the royal room. Thanks!

Glad to hear the good review - we are staying in a Royal room in 2 weeks! Can't wait!

That has to be it, because we were there in March and the sink area is seperate from the tub and toilet.

Not sure what view it was. It was gorgeous though. You opened the door and it overlooked the walking path and river lake. What's weird is someone said they must be booked. But the whole week we were there almost every room around is was empty.

Thanks for the review! We stayed in a Royal Room in March. Our sinks were outside the bathroom. So you must have had an accessible room. That would make it hard for 4 adults to get ready.
