We just got back from our first trip with our son who has mild aspergers and SID. The GAC was a life saver!! He was very over stimulated at WDW and had his moments but for the most part did good. With planning, using TGM, and the GAC we had a very successful first trip. Also having a schedule printed out and laminated was helpful for him, he always knew what to expect. The CM's were all nice. The only nasty looks we got was from some moms in line at the character spot in Epcot. The CM saw my son's GAC card and could tell he was having a tough time so she let our group go ahead. But then my ds had a total "autistic moment" and I think the moms that gave me the "look" understood.
