Just got back from Courtyard by Marriot

Well another great Disney trip this one was a bit different from past trips,this time we had a whole gang of us down there 18 people to be exact. It wasn't that bad either getting eveybody together in the mornings or at nights for dinner.Spoddles by the way was the best dinner we had!!We had only 15 min. of rain 1 day when we were heading back to the pool not bad for a 7 day trip!The hotel was nice but the happy hour special was cancelled for 3 days that was a bummer,and the bar only opened up at 5 in the afternoon and the pool bar was closed the whole time.The buses were a joke they had to pick up every other hotel in downtown disney i think there were 7 other hotels,by the time we got picked up and dropped off at a park it would take about 45min to an hour so thats 2 hours out of your day already.We did this for 3 days before we got wise and took our van to the parks.I am so used to the disney buses coming every 10 min. and dropping you off at the front gate and not the parking lot at MK,but you can't complain we only spent $25 /night,but to me there's nothing better than staying in a disney hotel,the pools ,the buses ,that disney feeling 24/7 this time i didn't have that but it was still a good time no lines no waits no rain great dinners great company We are already planning next years trip w/the same crew this time it will be longer and at a disney hotel probably at the boardwalk area anyone of the hotels there will be fine.I have one last thing to say i can't believe how much they charge for drinks in the park $2.50 for a 20oz soda $3 for a water when you have a family of 6 that adds up every day,Disney is making a bundle everyday off consessions, next time i will bring in my own drinks for my kids to cut down on some costs i dont mind spending money on great luches & dinners everyday but drinks i think thats a little to much. i know i'm ramblin' OH well here's to waiting another year to see the mouse and make my yearly donation to the mouse and his house

You are so lucky to only have a little rain. Usually we get a good soaking at least once a day. LOL Now its not Disney w/o the rain.
