This is my second stay at the CS. I have loved it both times! No complaints whatsoever. I tipped the mousekeeping and they did cute towel things, turned out bed down for us and arranged the pillows all pretty. All service was wonderful, no complaints AT ALL!!! We didn't eat the Maya Grill this time, just the Pepper Market and snacks at La Tienda. No complaints there either. The refillable mugs were cute and we used them a LOT so it was really worth the money.

I love this place and don't know if I could be talked into staying anywhere else. :)

I loved CSR - I recommended it to my DB & his DF & they honeymooned there also. They loved it too.

I still use my CSR mug all the time. Makes me happy.

One more thing:

It annoys me to no end when people gripe that the resort is too spread out. My hubby and walked around it and it was nothing. No big deal at all. These people who complain about the walking probably shouldn't be going to the parks! LOL!:)

This resort is on my "must do" list! I am so happy to hear you liked it! I really, really like mexican architecture, but the rancheros don't look appealing to me. I like the arches etc. Which section would you recommend? I am thinking about the one nearest the convention center. I can't remember what they are called, but they look so appealing to me! romantic!
Thanks.

I could never figure out the complaints about the resort being spread out either....That's all you do at DW so what's a little more? I look at it as my excuse to eat more dessert!!!!!! :rotfl:

That sounds like the Casitas section. It is very beautiful, with gorgeous courtyards & fountains.....

Welcome back! Glad you enjoyed CR again. Can't wait for our next trip in April.

Great website! We are also goin to be at CSR this April (17th - 24th). This is our first time at this resort. Are there any most do's at CSR to enjoy the full expirence? I don't want to miss a thing! I am traveling with my DW, DD2, DD13, & DS11.

I love this resort and I think it's a hidden gem. Hope it stays that way. It's no more spread out then any of the other moderates. I find it peaceful. My kids loved the Dig Site and can't wait to go there again. I think it's very underrated.

I didn't know you could get turn-down service at moderates? Do they leave chocolate?
Technically, I don't think they do turn-down service, I think I just had a nice Mousekeeper :) Plus, my tip envelope was eye-catching LOL

Nope, sadly no chocolates were left!

TaurusSES_Sport - when CSR first opened, turn-down service was an option. They stopped it in 1999 I think.

MouseMan - just enjoy what the resort offers. The Dig Site, the Pepper Market, rent a surrery bike or water mice if you like. Get a massage or just relax by the pool with some nachos and a margarita. I'll be there the same week as you.

I am an ap holder and will soon upgrade my dd's tix to ap also... I need to squeeze in one more trip! I want to make CS our next resort. What type of rates can I expect? I would like to go in late Sept or early Oct. Isn't that value season? {going in April, Dec of 05 planned, want to add CS}

My first stay was a few months ago and it was great. I've walked the resort prior to my stay and didn't think anything of it. I know some people put the resort down but it is a favorite for me.

I've had a not so great experience there but I'm glad to see it seemed to be a fluke and others haven't run into troubles like I did. I'm hoping to hear more good reviews so some day I'll return.

I too don't like how people complain about the size. I loved walking around the lake at night. Not any worse then CBR if you ask me.

We are looking forward to our first trip here in April!! Thanks Buzz for your great site!!!! :Pinkbounc
