How was the Poly? Today is my last chance to cancel and switch to staying the whole time at the Swan...

Did you like the Polynesian? Which longhouse did you stay in?

I posted another thread about the Poly. You may want to take a look at it if you are 2 adults with no children. We had a horrid time there due to the thin walls, and overly obnoxious children.

The grounds were beautiful! And the amenities are very nice. We did like the food court at AKL better. It had more options and was larger, but still overall liked the grounds better at the Poly.

Tahiti Longhouse is where we were on the 3rd floor. The location was perfect! Not to far from the ceremonial house, and just steps away from the pool, and great distance from the beach, and TTC.

However, with all this said, we will NEVER be staying there because of the problems we had with noise, and the unattentiveness of the staff. I heard directly from 2 poly staff members that told us that the Wilderness Lodge has the best security for situations like we had, and keep noise under control. They both suggested the Wilderness lodge. Now I know ;-)

I'm sure everyone will experience something different when staying at the same hotel. But for us, the stay at the poly really ruined our vacation. We got NO sleep, had been totally aggravated, etc.
