Just Got Back From A Party With...

Nancy Kerrigan!
I have been a big time fan of hers for years and come to find out she is related to my neighbors(our DSs go to school together). So, tonight was a birthday party for the neighbor at Chuck E Cheese and who should walk in with her son, but Nancy. Of course I played it cool and talked to her like she was just one of the other mothers but inside I was dying. I so wanted to yell..."You were robbed!!!!"
This was definitely one of the more exciting trips to Chuck E Cheese, LOL!

Yes... much older... I believe about 20 yrs!

Nancy kicks her butt on the ice now. Oksana has really gone downhill since '94, unfortunately. She is downright painful to watch Too much too young... no parental guidance to help her with the fame.

Yes, she was very nice and very normal. It did seem so weird just having a conversation with her, ya know?
Shes actually a lot tinier than she looks on the ice...very small boned. And I know everyone always insults her teeth, but they really didnt look big at all. I think she is very pretty, but I always have.
Its funny we have had parallel lives. We skated together in a show when we were really young, we both broke off engagements around the same time, we both got married like within a month of each other, and when my DS was born, the first thing the nurse said was "Nancy Kerrigan had a boy too, last night". Somehwere I lost out on the fame and fortune though.
And yes, she is living in Lynnfield now.
