Well, after a year of planning, we are back. Had a good visit. Will leave reviews also on dinning board. But will make general tips here too.
1) POFQ- did not get my request, and was put in building 7, but did like the hotel overall. The food court was very good we thought. Wow, the cinamon rolls were soooo yummy. The ribs and chicken were great too. Would stay there again. Bus service was good.

2) Yes, go to parks Early. I could not believe the swarms of people coming in at 11:30 or later as we were leaving for lunch and had already done several main attractions. It is a must during peak season. We used FP and arrived early and was able to do all the main things we wanted during Thanksgiving rush. FP as often as you can!

3) Dinning plan was a real treat!! Food was great, LeCellier, Oh my gosh!! What a place to eat. We ate there twice!!

4) Soarin- so cool, but man you have to do this first thing at opening!!Just follow the crowd!!

5) If you have extra FP that you can't use, give them away. I did this a couple of times, we have ADR needed to get to, or leave for airport, and it really makes someone else's day! I also had a couple of CS credits left, and bought families lunch.

6) All the reading on the boards really pays off. To all you planners, it is sooo worth it, the quality of your vacation will be your pay off.

If you have any questions, will be glad to help.

Thanks for the report. We leave for POFQ in 6 days, it is so good to hear nice things about it. Espically the food court, as we almost always end up eating dinner there every day.

Thanks

We will be at the POFQ in 2 weeks. Was building 7 far from the main building? Did you try the Benets? I'm glad you had a nice stay. Oh, by the way. What did you have at LeCellier? We will be eating there fr the CP package. Thanks.......... :flower:

All the building are not too bad, since it is a small resort, But I really was wanting closer, since we were doing the refillable mugs. But the food court was really a pleasant surprise, the food was good I thought. Yes, I tried the beignets, they were good too. But my kids and me really like the cinnamon rolls, they are so fresh in the morning.

The bus service was great too. We you are tired and coming in late after the evening shows, it was sooo nice to be the first drop off. You almost always had a seat that way too.

At LeCellier, ate there 2 times. I had cheese soup and k-bob for appetizers. Both good. The bread sticks, on my gosh, I could eat those forever!! I ordered the filet with mashed potatoes. Both times cooked perfect, and sooo tender. Just wonderful. In our group, the shrimp appetizers were a big hit too. This place lives up to all I had heard. A must do !

ITA about reading these boards and getting as much information as possible. It makes a big difference between having a good time and a great time.

As for getting there early, it never is a problem for our family. We went last summer(BIG crowds) and people were still coming in at 1pm.

How were the lines for Soarin' after 7PM, when FW is supposedly closed?
