Hi all-

Just wanted to give you my 2 cents on dinner reviews. I just got back Monday. Take it with a grain of salt...everybody likes different things and it is really hard to be consistent at a restaurant.

Chef Mickey's-FAIR they sat us in Pluto's section right where you walk in...it didn't have the energy the rest of the place had. The speaker which plays the music was broken. We have sat elsewhere on other trips and experienced a better time. The food was cafeteria-ish.

Akeshus Princess breakfast-Very Good. The interaction with the princesses priceless. The food was very good. They bring a big plate of eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes to the table and the fruit, danishes, etc... are buffet style

Le Cellier Canada -Good. Excellent wine recommended by the servier. Steak was very good.

Cinderella's Royal Table-Good princesses interaction here....food was good. Nothing great...just good

Calfornia Grill-Good My hubby had the steak which was well above average. VERY VERY GOOD WINE LIST HERE. My sushi was o.k. It was my fault...we ate too much earlier in the day..I wasn't very hungry. The sushi was not typical. More of an eclectic edge....It had a mango salsa spin...not my thing.

1900 Park Fare -awful. The food was just bad. The bread was very good. The prime rib was terrible..no taste. The salad was too bitter for me...not enough dressing. The meat was not tender at all. The milk was old and making curds in my coffee...the waiter brought me another which did the same. Very disappointing experience

Ohana- Good. A lot food. It started out really good. The wings and salad were excellent. The steak was a little tough..the sausage and turkey were good. The dessert was dreamy....and heavy......

Places I missed this trip and wished I didn't

Kona Cafe
Crystal Palace

Will return to Le Cellier for sure..the rest...we'll see

Thanks for your comments. I also thought Chef Mickey's was marginal; did you go for breakfast or dinner? We also loved Le Cellier. Had Patrick as a server. He was great, as was the food. Definitely try Kona next. I've been for both breakfast and dinner, both were excellent. I have a boy, so we don't do princess stuff. Hope you had a great time!
