I just got back from Universal Orlando last Saturday and had a great time. Does anybody have any questions? I'll try to answer whatever I can! :)

Hope you had a great trip. Last year when we were there I was looking for t-shirts, etc. with Shrek on, no luck. I was told to wait until this year, because of the ride opening. Will I be able to get Shrek things to bring back for a Shrek fan this year? I know with every other ride you have to exit through a store. Thanks. Also did you have rain constantly last week or just the on again off again Florida type of weather?

Oh yeah! You will definately be able to find Shrek stuff this time around. There is a Shrek gift store after the attraction (important: if you want to see the attraction, get in line first thing! Also, Express Passes are distributed VERY quickly and VERY early!) You can even go in if you don't see the show. I saw lots of t-shirts, dolls and even headbands with Shrek ears! You will definately have better luck this time. About the weater last week, the beginning of the week was HOT! It rained on us ALL DAY Thursday and most of the day on Friday. We didn't seem to have the normal "quick passing 3 o'clock Florida shower" everyday like normal. :(

Just wondering if you stayed on site. How was the crowds? The weather?

Glad you had a great time.

The crowds weren't that bad as the week went on. We didn't have to wait long at all for anything when we went to IoA on Friday. Universal Studios was pretty crowded on Tuesday. I've heard that Sundays and Mondays are the worst days to go because of the crowds and Fridays are the best day. No, we didn't stay onsite. We did stay in the Kissimmee area though. NICE resort called Lake Berkley Resort - back in the woods, very quiet and secure (security guard at the gate at all times!). Weather - one item you MUST take: ponchos for the WHOLE family! Don't wait till the parks to buy them - you will pay up to 5 times more than you would at say Wal-Mart or a Bass Pro shop! Small unbrellas also work - they were $10 at Disney MGM Studios and $5.99 at Quiet Flight - a surf shop on your right as you are headed into CityWalk.
