Ok, remember me............the one who was scared to death to ride RNR and EE?
I did both of them and all I have to say is, for all my fellow chickens is they were
FANTASMIC!
RNR-if you can make it through the first 5 seconds of the ride, the rest is a blast.
EE- Not scary at ALL. Was worried about the climb and the backwards parts, a blast and rode it back to back.

I will follow soon with a funny story about my first ride on RNR!

I happy for you! We were there last month and I finally got the nerve to ride the Tower of Terror and I loved it!
I think I build things up to much in my mind and then I chicken out. I was happy I forced myself on it..

I'm glad you over came your fears too! :thumbsup2 :yay:

Yippee for you! Doesn't the RNR just take your breath away? :cool1: I love that feeling! I remember the first time I tried it (I literally had to make myself), I said to myself "just try it once to say you've done it". Of course, I tried it and loved it and ended up going on it 5 times in a row!

I haven't been to the World since EE opened, but can't wait to try it out in November 2007.

I wish everyone would just "try it once". I'm so glad I did...and I'm sure you are too!

From all the posts, everyone on this board is scared to death to ride RNR and EE. And they are still just thrilling attractions no one has died on. Glad you enjoyed your experience.

YAY! You DID IT! I am STILL too chicken to ride Everest but I have ridden RR and it's such a FAST ride that you just zip through it anyway! I am just real sensitive to loud noise and that music is LOUD! I envy your bravery and I salute you! :cool1: Helen

DD14 convinced me to do TOT for the first time last trip - I can't say I loved it, but I'm glad I did it. Now, as for RR, someone is going to have to convince me that a 51 year young mom who get sick on carnival rides like Tilt A Whirls will be ok. I have done Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain, etc. so maybe I'll survive?

Ok 55 yo here who can no longer do Tea Cups or Tiltawhirls, but loves coasters. Give EE a try, it's most like a smooth BTMR on steroids. RnR is fast, you may not even feel the first inversion. I've only done the souped up version of MS and love that. I'm a firm believer in try it -- at least then you can say you've ridden it!

Good Job!! When i rode the Tower Of Terror with my dad, I was so scared. I told him that if i came out of that ride alive i wanted a t-shirt!(Previously he gave me a certain amount of money and told me to buy what i wanted)That was the only way i was riding it!! I got off and roded it 3 more times before we left.

I rode RnRC for the first time just a month and a half ago and man did I love it!!! :cool1: I wasn't scared at all. I was more anxious and excited. :dance3: Especially when I was directed into the alleyway after the preshow! I experienced this ride all alone and I was so glad I went for it. I was left with the urge to go right back on but never got the chance. :sad2: I know on our next trip, I am definitely doing that one more than 3 times

I also got to go on EE and I loved that one too. My DS5 loved it more. Although I must admit that the backwards sequence had me a bit light headed at the end but that went away in a couple of minutes.

I am so happy for you for conquering your fear head on and just went for it. :thumbsup2

Yeah! Good for you! :cheer2: I promised my kids I will try TOT this time. Wish me luck.

arent those 2 rides the best?!? they are y favorite 2 in all of disney! I was too chicken last time i went to disney in 2001, and covinced myself that i would be fine when i went a couple weeks ago, and ooohhh boy, i fell in love.

i also did tower of terror this time, and as corny as this may sound i felt so proud of myself... like "wow, i did THAT?!?" it just made the vacation THAT much more enjoyable!

congrats to you for getting over your fears!
