Just got back....and already planning for next trip

We just got back. We were there Oct. 9th-12th. We are officially AP holders. So Exciting!! I've literally waited 38 years for this to happen!! SO with that being said we are planning a mini trip in Nov and a bigger trip for February/March.

We are looking at Nov 13-15th or Nov 27th-29th. Which of these two Sunday-Tues would be best. We basically are going for the Christmas Decorations. However the time that would have the lesser of crowds would be best. Curios what everyone's thoughts are. I know it's always crowded now but looking to spend a little time taking in he scenery before it gets to insanely crowded.

If you're already planning another trip, it means one of two things: either your trip was too short, or you have an AP. Or both! Nov 13th will be the end of one the Disney races, so there'll be some crowds on Sunday and a good number of leftovers on Monday. However, Nov 27th will be the Sunday after Thanksgiving, so you'll have so vacation crowds that day as well. My family will be there the week of the 13th.

We'll also be there the week of Feb/March. We might run into you guys a lot! Aren't APs fun?!?!? A whole year when you can go back almost anytime you want. It's a cool feeling.

Congrats on your AP's! We just got them for the first time on our last trip and I know your excitement! We have gone many years the Sunday after Thanksgiving and it has always been an awesome time to go. I would still do that week if it weren't for the homework the kids miss. We have to be much more strategic with when we go now that they are older. The decorations are beautiful - have a great trip!

Either of the dates you picked shouldn't be to bad crowd wise. But I would go with Nov. 13-15 a little more than Nov. 27-29. I think the Marathon crowds shouldn't be that bad on the days after the race and Nov 27-29 can still be fall break for some school.

Either way, Holiday time is still an awesome time to go!
