Last minute plans had this vacation on again off again so many times it was crazy! We finally were good to go and stayed at the CBR, the place was empty.....no crowds for buses or the food court. We ate breakfast there every day and it was very good. We had lunch there yesterday because it was cold and raining and thought we might as well hang out for a bit, the chicken fingers are what they are and yes we found the Kens Honey Dijon there as well as everywhere else that served chicken fingers thank goodness! DH had the meatball sub, he said it was good.

Friday was Epcot and the place was jam packed! The weather was sunny and warm but by noon turned to rain that lasted the entire day! There were a ton of schools there so teenagers were in abundance but they were very well behaved. Soarin had a 90 minute wait at one point but we had fast passes and Test Track had a 70 minute wait but again we had the fast passes. We skipped lunch and had the school bread from Norway, thanks to all of you for suggesting it, never would have tried it otherwise and now I am addicted to it! Also thanks for the heads up at Tangerine Cafe, the meatball plate and rotisserie chicken were out of this world, try the marinated olives, they are great! We walked over to the BC/YC and checked out the decorations, you could smell the gingerbread through the lobby!

Saturday we did MK for a bit in the morning, again the place was super duper crowed and everything in Fantasyland had over a 70 minute wait. I was telling my husband that there were too many kids at this time of the park so we would hit all these rides on Sunday night at the MVMCP and this snotty lady turned to me and said "This is WDW for god's sake, you have to expect kids!! If you dont like kids dont come here...." Well my DH got angry and explained to her that is not what I meant, we love kids and we just meant that at that time of the day there is a lot of familys that hit that land first and then he told her to stay out of others conversations! I was so flustered by her that we hopped over to MGM instead! We had a great time looking at the Osborne Lights and the park was busy but not like MK. We had dinner at 50s Prime TIme and had a great time! I had the Electric Lemonade and DH had the Picnic Punch, both were great! We each had the fried chicken and the Smores for desert, wow the food is so good there!

Sunday was Downtown Disney for shopping, the place was very busy because it was cold and rainy. We went to the Poly and GF and saw the decorations and chilled out until 4 and then it was PARTY TIME!! The event was very low on attendants and that was great, there was no line or wait time for anything, and I mean anything!! Some rides we stayed on and went around again! We had 5pm resv at Crystal Palace and the food was great, the adobe pork is our fav! They had the prime rib, roasted turkey, garlic mashed potatoes and all the other yummy foods!! The parade was so great, since there was hardly anyone in the park all the people had front row seats! It was very cold but at least the rain stopped earlier in the day.

We left this morning but made a pit stop back at Downtown Disney to get a few more gifts for the nieces, cannot wait until they open them up on Xmas day!

Oh yeah and FYI, the MVMCP is sold out on the 13th as well as the 18th and Beaches and Cream is closed for renovations

thanks so much for your great report.........It is hard for some people to mind their own business........but I am sure that you all had a good time. WE love the Christmas time even with the BIG crowds......thanks again

I'm so glad you had a good time. Our trip is in three weeks, and I just can't wait!! I know exactly what you mean about Fantasy Land. My husand and I don't have kids either, but do like them. I probably would have said the same thing you did and been misunderstood too. Oh, well, at least your husband said something to tell her she was wrong. We would have been so :earseek: that she would go on thinking we were kid haters or something. :goodvibes
