Just got Annual Passes in Mail but arent active, can I still make FP+ ressies?

So I just got my family's annual pass cards but they aren't active yet until our trip in late May. Can I still use them or register them on My Disney Experience so I can still make my FP+ selections 60 days in advance?

Also, when do the wristbands get delivered? I feel like they came earlier last year.

Any help is appreciated. Disney Fever has officially started. Can't wait to get out of this snow and into some sunshine!

You can indeed link the tickets before they are activated.

You can book FP+ at 60 days with an onsite room reservation. Otherwise it is 30 days.

Wrist bands for room reservations usually come within a couple to weeks of check in. (I want to say 27 days beforehand is the deadline for customization and they are mailed shortly after.)

If you are offsite, AP MB's can be ordered after activation.

We just did that!! Got away from the snow and cold that is!!! LOL

When we ordered our AP's, the CM linked them to My Disney Experience right then - no issues - made FP's, etc. Activated them at Guest Services when we arrived - everything was already in order.

Our Magic Bands arrived about 3 1/2 weeks before our ressies. We only had one glitch, charging privileges showed 'over limit' first room charge!! Our resort had 'goofed' setting our charge limit at $0. GS fixed it immediately, even Pixie Dusted us an extra FP for our inconvenience! Everything else worked just fine for our 2 weeks there!
