Super stoked!
My fiancée and I are getting married on October 27th and, of course, are going to visit the World for our honey moon. We booked flights this past Sunday, but held off on the Disney booking; we were waiting for a discount. I decided to visit the site to price out the trip, and it was as expensive as expected.
Then today, unexpectedly, I receive THE email:

We're so excited you're thinking about a stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
Be sure to mention your PIN:
I was excited, yet confused, as there was no solid indication if the PIN would work for me. In one of the three ad columns at the bottom of the mail, it describes the "Special Resort Offer" of 20% off select Disney Resort hotels. It only listed WL and AKL for the Deluxe resorts.
So I click 'book now', put in my information, and cross my fingers. After the longest minute of

The PIN code worked and we got 20% off the room rate of our Grand Floridian Theme Park View room!
That was enough to get me to book! We will be staying from October 28th - November 5th with the dining plan and a 7 day park hopper. The GF is DF's number one choice, as she has not yet had the pleasure of staying there, let alone any monorail resort.
I know it's not the best discount, but it's something. I will, of course, be vigilant and seek out better discounts as the trip draws near.
After the booking, I of course had to make a call to put in a room request.. top floor of Conch Key! I was fortunate to have an extremely nice, friendly, and magical cast member.
Now I impatiently wait until we can book our ADRs..!
