Just got an email about Everest!!!

I got an email from Disney saying Expedition Everest would be open for during our stay. I knew we had a very good chance to get to ride, after viewing all of the threads on this board, but getting confirmation from Disney makes all the more exciting!! I can't wait and were in the single digits as of today!!

When exactly is that? did the email mention other dates?

Im pretty sure during the soft opening it's open pretty much everyday but, I just wonder what the email stated.

I'm happy for you, but don't forget the ride is in soft opening, meaning it could close at any time. I hope for your sake that it is open the whole time you are there!

This is true, but at this phase where it's open so much, I think they'll be fine as long as no problems arise. But it's true, if they see something they want to change or fix before official opening they'll close immediately unlike most times when they try to do things in rehabs or night work.

I think you'll be fine though...........MS was a very complex ride and it was open ALOT during it's soft opening.

My DD6 and I rode it on Monday 3/6. It seems to be running all the time now. You will love it, it's a great ride.

The ride was AWESOME!!!! My son and I went on it twice last week.

I love the view from the top of the mountain. Look around when you get to the top of the climb. You can see most of the other parks.

Just another reason to go to Animal Kingdom at least once a trip now!

DH and DS rode it last week and said it was awesome!!! It was open all last week while we were at WDW. It had constant lines, so I'd be surprised if they closed it at this point. I can definitely see this attraction pulling more people into AK!

The email did not give any dates. The dates we will be there are March 19-24
The From line on the email said "Your Disney Travel Planner"
The Subject line said: Chilling Disney sneak peek for the "our last name" Party!

Dates are irrelevant at this point. It's a "soft opening" which means basically it's fully operational unless they need to take it down for some reason.

We are going to FL March 18th - 25th!
I am going to do a little "happy dance" because the chances of riding are a little bit higher for us at this point!!!



Well... if for some reason, we can't ride it due to technical difficulties, at least we will have a reason to return and use our un-used days on tickets..
