Just got an e-mail from disney about being in a study..READ ME!

I just got this e-mail from disney asking me to respond asap for a survey they will be conducting in Dallas-Ft. Worth on August 11th.

Of course I e-mailed back ASAP!

Has anyone ever been to this? Done something like this? They said there would be $50 in it for me if I went. SHOOT I WOULD DO IT FOR FREE! It's DISNEY!

The other day when I went to the *official* WDW site, a pop up survey appeared about their website. After answering all the questions, it asked me if I would be interested in participating in studies that Disney would be doing. Of course, I said YES!!! I have been a registered user of that site for some time now, but this was the first time anything like that happened. We'll see what happens.

The only surveys I ever got was after I came back from a WDW Resort, usually the survey came in the mail. I wish they would send me more!

I really hope they call me back. I love to answer surveys like this! Plus it's Disney! Yeah!

I wonder what it's about??? It's from Disney World Resort, so maybe it's about upcoming packages or something. The only thing that I am worried about is them not picking me because I used to work for the Disney Store.

There is a link on the wdw site that says Tell us what you think, it's not real big, but it is on the left hand side of the screen, oh I am sorry, you first have to click on the tabs that say Past Guest, Recent Guest etc... and then when you do, (I clicked recent guest) you will see the link (Tell us what you think) and when you click it you will be taken to a survey and at the end of the survey it will ask if you would like to become a member of the online panel, you will also be entered into a drawing for $500. Just thought I would pass on the info. I have been to the site zillions of times and I just saw the link today, (of course, I am practically blind...lol)

I was asked to participate in a study back in June 2002. It was the night before I left on my Disney vacation. It was held in Boston, MA. I went and at the end they gave me a check for either $100 or $150, I can't remember. It was cool. If you can do it, then do it.

I went to a focus group last year and it was all about the web site and things they could do to improve it. This appears to be similar. It was funny because half of the people there used sites like this one and Mousesavers.com and realized that Disney would never make their website as informative because they still have plenty of people paying rack rate or buying packages. They probably got good feedback from the other half though.
