Arts and Crafts Just got a Silhouette Cameo 3...

Any fun/useful tips? I have been playing around with it a bit and the design studio seems pretty easy to learn... just will take a little bit of time. I had to make a quick little vinyl sticker for my machine so I could see how all this stuff works lol.

Also, any good places to find vinyl? I have found some super cute printed vinyls on Etsy, but I'm looking for solid colors, glitter, holographic type vinyl now.

I love the outdoor vinyl Oracal 651... I use it on outdoor items (I made a flag out of plexiglass for my garden that was Disney themed -- the color never faded being outside.).. I also use it on tumblers and stuff that I have washed numerous times.


I love Siser Easyweed HTV for my t-shirts

It has solid; glitter; holographic

I have had good luck with this HTV (t-shirt use) and they have washed really well. I made Disney t-shirts several times and they still look great!

There are a lot of great groups on facebook where you can view files others have created for inspiration, and some even share files so long as your not making them for profit. I have seen the most amazing shirts come from there.
