Just got a good car rental rate with Hertz through AAA

I had a car reserved at National. Been checking the rates every day for the last month. We leave for Orlando Jun 27 - July 4. My National rate had not changed from 290 with tax midsized. Tonight I checked a midsized at Hertz through the AAA website and got a rate of 160 with tax. Since 2 other people in my party are AAA members they can drive the car also at no charge. I also used a $40 off coupon code I found at the Hertz website. I'm saving $130 and got below the $200 rental rate that I wanted.

That's great! Where are you renting from? MCO or another location?

I am looking for a rental at the end of August and so far it has been discouraging! I have been trying to work every discount I can find through credit cards and AAA and so far I haven't come up with anything good!

We are renting at MCO... Keep trying through the AAA website. I checked 2 weeks ago and the rate at Hertz was 300 dollars for the week. Now its almost Half that.

Don't forget Hertz has a pick-up/drop-off point on WDW property at Shades of Green (which is next to the golf courses and across from the Poly).
