Earlier this month I booked a seasonal rate of 219.00 at the Royal Pacific for the end of Aug. . We are only staying 2 nights so I figured that was the best we could do for booking early on , maybe later we could apply a discount when they came out. Well I just went back and saw they had a stay more book for less offer on those same two nights for 153.30 per night! I called and the gentleman on the phone said it was a mistake, so before they changed it or took it down I booked and paid for it online.

I wondered if something might be amiss when I checked rates for Columbus Day weekend and saw that SMSM was already up. Last year, those rates weren't available until May. I already booked my room, so if they honor the rate, cool, if not, I understand. I'd feel bad taking advantage of them. :/

Yeah kinda felt guilty, but booked it anyway. By that time APH rates and room discounts will probably be about the same room rate anyway, so would probably get a deal, still... 153.00 couldn't let it get away.

Oh, I hear you on that. It's not cheap, but it's worth every penny. You'll love it!

I book seasonal and have been checking rates for about 6 months. Every time I call I get different answers. They are not forthcoming about the least expensive rate unless you push them for it. So if I see a discount on line vs what I am told over the phone I wouldn't really know for sure if I was taking advantage of a mistake or not.

Wow!!!! Thats great! When we booked HRH club level last year for the week after WWOHP opened I thought the club level would be too expensive. Luckily in March I found an amazing deal of only 300.00 a night for that week. We had a blast! The next few days after, the prices increased dramatically so we were very lucky. Don't feel guilty, enjoy!!! We are hoping to go back and June and check the prices regularly. Have a great time!!!!

They had these rates same time last year also, actually last year
I booked our Oct. trip for $124.00 night at the 1st of Feb. That rate lasted up to about mid Aug.before they were all gone.
