Just Got A 40% Off Code

My sister got the email yesterday. She called and booked the Poly this morning for last week of October, standard view for $238 a night. I haven't priced Poly in a long while (always thought it was just out of reach) is this a good rate for the Poly standard view? I thought at 40% it would be a bit better....still I have been wanting to stay at the Poly again FOREVER, so we probably are going to do it, but would still like your thoughts/opinions on the rate, especially since I think I saw someone who said they got the Poly in July for $204????

We live in Massachusetts. My sister got the code, but she also has not been to WDW since 2004, so I'm wondering if that's why she got it. Hopefully a code will open up for the rest of us who did not get one or can't use the one that was sent to us.

I'm hoping for the same thing ( I'm in Texas also!) I'll have to check all my "addresses" that Disney says I have. Let's keep our fingers and toes crossed!

I'm in Arkansas and I got the code. Since the codes are linked in the WDW reservations computer anyone who is interested should probably call and give them your name and ask, "Do I have any discount codes linked to my name?"
I was not required to give them the actual code that came in the email because it was already linked to my name in their computer. Sure can't hurt to call and ask.

I got the Poly for $204 for December, with tax it was $229.50 per night for a garden view

I cant understand why you got rates so high at AKL ...that is not right,i would call back and speak to someone else... I got the same code and my rate is 201.00 a night for CLUB LEVEL room so your rate IS to high...call someone else...also the person I spoke with said this will never be a rate for just anyone to use,they will only send it to some people and you HAVE to have a pin because of what happend with the 40% off code last year..they ARE asking for the code BUT they did let dh best friend use our code because he was staying at the same time we are at the same hotel but they still needed the pin off the postcard..they said it will not open up to gen public.

I got the e-mail! I can't use it for any of the dates plus I'm a DVC member. I was just to WDW 11/07. I don't know if this helps anyone figure out who's getting them.

I'm so discouraged. I called & they said I don't have any discount associated with my name.

I ordered the DVD today & I also made two itineraries on the website. Hopefully this will help.

I wonder if they won't send me one because I already have a reservation for 2008?

Ok so this spinkle was for me!! And this one is for everyone else who hasn't gotten a PIN code. It would be sooo nice to get one, but in the event I don't I'm a Disney Visa Cardholder so I will eventually get a little something. But till then best wishes to everyone!!

I got the 40% code last Jan and used it for the BC in OCt and the Poly in Dec, we were paying 197.40 plus taxes = 222.08 a night at the Poly. It was a great deal and turned out less for the Poly than the WL full price. The 40% last year was on the room and you were able to go ahead and package dining and park hoppers but the discount was equal to 40% off the room. Did phone today but there is no code associated with me this year yet so booked the WL rack. One can only hope!

Got the 40% of code today in PA - on an email account we ONLY use for bill paying - and the only thing Disney related on that email is the Disney VISA. So having the Disney VISA must be one of the "triggers" in determining who gets the code.

I think the latter part of July is value season for the Poly, but October is regular season. It is still a great rate.

I just called to see if there was a PIN for my household & the CM said no.

We have a Disney Visa & I checked & rechecked my profile on the Disney website so I am not sure at all how they pick & choose who gets a code & who doesn't.

I got a standard at the Poly for 203 a night in September, it was 229 with tax.

I got POR for 89 a night (with tax) for August plus was able to add DDP (which I am going to NOT do because my kids are adults now and tip and appy are not included now... )
