Just getting started Goal June 2012

My hubby and myself have just joined a fitness club and are getting in shape for our June 2012 trip to Disney. He was considering the lap band until a new fitness place opened in our town so I decided to join with him.

My goal is lose wieght and tone up and his goal is to lose weight and be able to ride more rides. Yesterday was our first session and whoa I'm feeling it. We are so happy to be able to work on getting our energy back and slim down.
 
Thank you! We now have 2 workouts under us and the second one was a little harder. But it feels so good to move muscles I haven't moved in forever. I can just see me being able to walk down mainstreet with a little more pep in my step.
 
He has been doing great. Me on the other hand it has been since the kids were in school that I went. Not good. But he has lost some weight and I'm very proud of him.

Congratulations to you both for starting this process. I am planning a May 2012 reward trip to Disney for my continued weight loss. I started in January and have now lost 75 pounds on my own. I need to lose another 58 pounds to hit my goal. My advice is to make continued short term goals as it keeps you going little by little. I make 10 pound goals. It seems to keep me going. I can't wait to go back to Disney and enjoy moving around a little easier.
