that we can afford to go to WDW the week after Thanksgiving, we have never been at Christmas or anytime other then summer. Im excited, anyone have any advice? Is it slow, are the parks crowded? I see the parks close early that week, MK I think has MVMCP?

My husband and I vacationed at that exact same time frame (arriving on Sunday after Thanksgiving) a few years ago (25th anniversary trip). It was beyond wonderful. Crowds were not bad at all, temperature was beyond great, decorations at the parks and resorts were magical. This was our first vacation during that time frame and I can't wait to do it again. I wouldn't say the parks were empty but we never waited for anything beyond 15 minutes. If it was a wait we grabbed fastpasses for later. We also did MVMCP and it was nice. It was more crowded than I thought it would be. I'm not sure why I thought it wouldn't be very crowded. I had read that the 2nd parade was better as for crowds and I didn't find that. Maybe we were in the wrong place. Its not cheap and I'm not sure I'd do it again but that's just me. We were lucky enough to share with some other folks an Illuminations Cruise. Now that I would do over and over again. Definitely worth the extra money! Illuminations has a Christmas overlay during the holidays and it just added in the beauty of it. You will have a wonderful time!!!!! Happy Planning!!!!!!
