Just found an old ticket!

I knew I had 1 day left on an old non-expiring ticket from 2003, but I hadn't been able to find it for years. Last night, I finally found it in a old box! I already have my ticket purchased for my upcoming trip, but I'm kind of worried I might loose this old ticket again. Is it possible to link a ticket that old in MDE? If I did, I'm worried that MDE would use the old ticket instead of my current one. Can you choose which ticket to have MDE use?

If you call them and they add it, make sure ask to have whichever one you want prioritized, they may or may not be able to over the phone, but if they tell you they did, you need to at least check to make sure that is done and the right ticket was used after you enter the park. If the wrong one was used go straight to guest services.

You can also have tickets prioritized at the concierge at a Disney Hotel, or at the parks by going up to Guest Relations outside the park entrances. If it were me, and it was important, even if they told me over the phone it was prioritized I would go to guest services prior to entry and make sure. There's no way to prioritize it yourself.

We have tickets from many years ago on our account. I called to prioritize and they told me they are no longer allowed to do this over the phone and it has to be done at hotel or guest services. Hoping it can be done before first day of package because that will definitely eat up time that could be spent in the park.

We have ticket books with tickets from 1975 and 1976. We called Disney and they said they would give us credit for those tickets for the new tickets. We just decided they would be better keepsakes. They are still in our safe. They are unique with ABCD rides etc. Things sure have changed since those early days.

That's kind of what I figured. You can prioritize anytime, as long as you have access to a Dis resort concierge or actual Guest Services. Still, make sure to take a second after entry to check to see if the right ticket was used (you can view your tickets in MDE and I was always able to make sure they took a day from the right ticket). I've never had a problem once they prioritized them for me, but have heard of some people still having issues.

In any case, finding an old unused ticket is essentially like finding money:) Have fun!

Same thing just happened to me today. Been looking forever for our non expiring tickets. Finally found them. How can you find out how many days are left on them. I know there are plenty of water park days left. Not sure how many "regular" parks

For Theme Parks...
First, try to input the old ticket numbers into your MDX account.
If you can, then try booking FP+ (starting with tomorrow's date) for as many days as the system will allow.
When the system says you have reached the "maximum" you will know how many Theme Park "days" you have.
(Be sure to then cancel any FP+ reservations you will to be using.)

If you can't get the ticket(s) to enter into your MDX account...
Below is a quote from an eMail from WDW Guest Relations regarding "days left" on tickets:
Greetings from the Walt Disney World Resort!

Thank you for contacting us regarding your unused Walt Disney World ticket media.

If you have not already done so, please send a copy of the front and back of your tickets, as well as a copy of your Government issued I.D. to Ticket.Usage@DisneyWorld.com.

Include your name and daytime telephone number. We are unable to provide usage without these copies.
Please note, we are not able to receive messages or attachments greater than two mega bytes. If needed, send your files in separate messages or compress them prior to sending.
If you are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort within five days and need immediate assistance, please call us at (407) 560-2544, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm (EST). We may also be reached Sunday and Saturday between the hours of 10:00am and 5:00pm (EST).

I personally assure you that your message has been received. Depending on the amount of research required, our response time may vary; however, a member of my Guest Experience Services Team will contact you within five days.

Sincerely,
