...I sent an email to WDW Customer Service and ASKED for a pin!:rotfl2:

Not that I'm holding my breath, but it couldn't hurt, right?:rolleyes1

Anyone else ever try it?

Good luck with that! I sent an email doing the same thing 2 months ago and never even heard back.Maybe you will have better luck

I did this same thing and I received a "generic" reply saying pin codes were given out randomly and to keep checking their special offers page. Maybe you'll have better luck that I did.

Great idea! I think I'll try this when we get closer to our trip next year, and make sure they know that I'm not opposed to staying at US instead.

In Jan. DH sent an e-mail to 'disney destinations', asking if we could use a PIN that our son had just received. We knew the answer would be "no". Sure enough they did reply that if DS was not part of our reservation, we could not use his PIN. BUT, 4 days later we got our own 40% PIN. We used it to upgrade from ASMu to POFQ.

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I tried, without luck. They sent back an email with info about WDW, but no code or discount offered.

At least you all know that now they have your e-mail in their system correctly - maybe that will improve your odds. Everytime I call about something and they verify my e-mail, they quote one that I haven't had in years.
