Just for fun...what did your baby weigh?

Jacob was 6 lb 9 oz and 5 weeks early. He weighed between 9 and 10 pounds on his due date, and that was after having lost a lot of weight after his birth because he was simply too tired to eat.

Today, at 6 months, he weighs 23 pounds and wears 24 month and 2T clothes. He's off the charts for height and weight.

DD15.5 was 7 lbs 15 oz, 19 inches, and was induced 3.5 weeks OVERDUE. She had peeling skin, held her chest up and rolled over the day she was born- and slept through the night. Boy was I in for a surprise when reality set in for the next one.

DD11.5 was 8 lbs 6 oz and 21 inches. She was born on her due date and after 3 hours of labor. Born with an intact amniotic sac and is still a "water baby".

DS7.5 was 8 lbs 15.5 ozs and 19 inches. He was induced 2 days late and came in a quick 6 hours.....and squished a vertebrae in the process. Will get him back in adolescence with horror stories of his birth in front of his friends!

DD5.5 (and starting kindergarten, boo hoo) was 8 lbs 6 oz and 21 inches- exactly the same as her older sister. She was induced 1 week early "because the doctor had time that day" and didn't want to take a chance that I wouldn't make it back into town. She came after a quick 6 hours, too!

Both the "tall" girls are still tall (DD11 is taller than DD15) and the shorties are still short.....the shorties are blond and the tall-ies are dark haired. And they MIGHT all survive the summer if they quit fighting with one another!

DS #2 9lb 10 oz and 5 days early, in labor 5 hours, natural
DD 9lb 12 oz and 10 days early, in labor 2 hours, natural

DS #1 is now 23, 5'10" and 165 lbs
DS #2 is now 22, 5'9" and around 190 lbs
DD is now 17, 5'5" and just graduated into a size 5, after being a size 0-1 for all her teen years. Definitely did not take after my side of the family. My mom kept telling me I was having another boy because my belly was so big, lol.

I was 4 lbs 7 oz and very premature. Was supposed to be born near Christmas and was born on Veteran's Day instead!

DS - Andrew - was 5 lbs. 3 oz. - 18-1/2" (now he's 14-1/2, 5'11-1/2" and 155 lbs)

DS - Grant - was 6 lbs. 8 oz. - 18-1/2" (now he's 9-1/2, 4'11" and 80 lbs.)


Mine start out small, but then sprout up! I'm soon going to be the shortest one in the family at 5'3"!!!

DS was 11 pounds, 7 ounces at birth. Big Baby + Big Head = C Section for mom.

He's now 9 years old, very tall, and skinny at exactly 70 pounds.

DS#1 born on January 18, 1990 weighed 7lbs. 8 oz.

DS#2 born on December 28, 1990 weighed 8lbs. 7oz.

Yes, I had two babies in one year.

DS-7lb 12oz. He was 10 days late
DD- 8lb 10oz. She was 14 days late
DD- 8lb 7oz. She was only 3 days late because I threatened not to leave the midwifes office unless she admitted me and induced me! She knew I wasn't kidding and I had dd the next day!

That little baby has grown up into a BIG 9 (almost 10) year old who is about 5 feet tall and weighs 100 lbs. She will be taller than me soon...definitely takes after her dad's side of the family.

NOOOO! Not fair!!!!!! I had to take after my mother! GRR! I'm FINALLY 5'1"!!! And I am almost 16! I've always been short for my age. My mom is 5' exactly. My dad is 6'1". How'd your daughter get so lucky?! lol!

My little girl weight 6lbs 14oz. She was a tiny little thing, and she's still a petite one.

I've been working at a pediatric office, and I'm starting to get a that baby itch! DH and I are waiting about 4 more years though... They're just so cute!

6lbs 12 oz and 18 inches long

1st dd was 8 lbs 13 oz and induced to weeks prior to my due date. Youngest dd was 10 lbs 3 oz and was born the day after her due date. Always makes me wonder had 1st dd been born closer to her due date would she have been 10 lbs also.

DD 25 8lbs 8oz and she was a 6 week preemie. Docs said she would have been 13 to 14 lbs had she gone full term.

My son was 9lbs 8ozs and I didn't have drugs - not by choice!!! The hospital made yard signs with the baby's name, DOB, height and weight and placed them outside each door. It was too funny to hear visitors walking by and reading the sign and commenting on how big he was! He is now 4' 6" and weighs 63lbs at 8 (almost 9) years old.

Emily was big girl at 10lbs 5ozs. She was born exactly on her due date via c-section. She will be starting 1st grade this fall and is pretty much average in size and weight now.

DS- 8 pounds 0 ounces, 21 inches- 2 days late Son is now 22 and weighs about 140 pounds and is 5'9"

DD- 7 pounds 10 ounces, 19 inches- three days early Daughter is now 19 and weighs 115 pounds and is 5'1"

DD- 7 pounds 6 ounces, 19 inches- two days early Daughter is now almost 13 and weighs 85 pounds and is 4'10"

I'm 5'0" and my husband is 5'9" We are all lacking in the height department:
