Just Finished the New Harry Potter Book (spoilers)

okay so I know that the newest Harry Potter book has been talked about over and over but I needed to put my 2 cents in. I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT JK ROWLING KILLED SIRIUS BLACK!!!!!!! ok got that anger out. It's just that I loved that character and just feel that it is so horribly unfair that she did that to Harry (yes I know they are only characters in a book but it's a testament to the writer that I feel so strongly). How much more can this poor boy take?! His parents are dead, he's stuck living with the Dursleys and now his godfather is killed! I have to say I cried...I was so upset that I cried...too bad we'll have to wait 3 years until the next book comes out and we have to wait until next summer until the next movie comes out.

I was thinking after I finished the book - what if Sirius is not really dead?

Being 'dead' is a good way to be able to come out into the open and not get arrested and sent back to jail. Perhaps he will come back as the defence against the dark arts teacher - but with a false name etc. That way he could keep a close eye on Harry.

Remember, while they were in that room they could hear voices? I'm thinking that he is not dead but that for his safety, they are just going to leave him there for awhile.

I don't think this is the last we've heard of Sirius.

I hope this isn't the last of Sirius Black because (as I'm sure you could tell) he is one of my favorite characters. I've been talking about the book all day today. The people Iwork with must think I'm a bit nutty
