At least, the initial round. Took a bit to get used to what I was doing, but after about 15 minutes, figured out time changes, how to change attractions, change people. We've got 6 people, so it took a bit of work. System is easy enough to make selections. Given that we can get additional FP's after the 3rd one is used, I went for all morning for the most part. Just hoping we'll be able to snag a couple of evening FP's for 7DMT, BTMRR and Jungle Cruise. Biggest complaint is definitely the tiering at Epcot. Sucked I couldn't get one for Living With The Land and Maelstrom. Just goes to show how in need of more attractions Epcot is. Anyways, here's what I got:

So, all in all, I think did OK. Will mess around with it I'm sure as it gets closer, but I think we'll do alright.

Living with the LandThis is pretty much not necessary at all. This ride never has more than about 10 people in line, and has a large capacity. The most I have waited is about 10 minutes on a rainy busy day. I know there are not many other good options out there, and if choosing this fast pass simply to count as one of your three so you can get a 4th in tier 1, then it is fine, but just know the fast pass will be a total waste.

Toy Story Midway Mania!I would choose to FP this one later in the afternoon. You can all ride this first thing with no wait, then ride it again later.

Star Tours® - The Adventures Continue
10:35 - 11:35 am

I assume these 5 FP reservations means your party is splitting up and some are doing certain rides? Not too sure..

Sunday, July 13, 2014 - Magic Kingdom® Park

Splash MountainI would suggest switching this to after noon. The line will be the longest when it is the hottest, and during RD I would ride BTMR and Space mountain before Splash. Florida mornings can sometimes be chilly or have a breeze, although in July I doubt it, but possible. If you were to move this to say 12:15-1:15, you could have all your FP done by 12:30, and there will still be a great selection left. Are you sure you don't want to choose more mountains to FP in the morning? Or character meet and greets? These lines will be the longest all day and the FP do go quickly.
9:00 - 10:00am
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin®
10:10 - 11:10 am
Jungle Cruise®
11:15 - 12:15 pm

Monday, July 14, 2014 - Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park

Kilimanjaro Safaris®This is our favorite ride to do, we actually ride it over and over again until a decent wait starts to form. If I were you, I'd ride it at least twice, the first at RD without FP, then at the very end of your window with FP. I would not use FP right at 9am if that is when the park opens.
9:00 - 10:00 am
Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain®

So, all in all, I think did OK. Will mess around with it I'm sure as it gets closer, but I think we'll do alright.
Overall you did great, especially for a party of 6. Know that overall your 9am fast passes are not necessary, and if you are able to bump them back at all I definitely would. The idea to get a 4th is great, but sometimes FP can interrupt a great touring plan and lead you all over the park. As soon as the park opens I like to go straight from one ride to another until the lines simply get too long or irritating, then use the FP. Getting a 4th or more FP may be more difficult because of your party size, so make sure your initial three are ideally the most popular ones you can get. In july I would not count on getting additional FP for the mountains other star attractions in any of the parks, and if your able to schedule these I would. Other lesser attractions will most definitely be available especially since you will be finishing your FP so early.

You overlap our trip by a few days. We start on the 13th.

May I ask...was it pretty easy to get those times? Were there a decent amount of options available to you?

First time doing this will be Tuesday and even as a Diz vet, it's got me super nervous.

I agree 100% with everything you said. Seems silly to get a LWTL Fastpass. But it's a means to an end. Let's use them all up, then at least we can choose whatever attractions are available for FP+. A big thing for me is I don't want to have to walk around with my cell phone out all day making changes. FP+ for us is a necessary evil. Let's just do it, get it over with as fast as we can, then go to using FP the way it was originally intended. Since we have an hour window, we'll definitely do our usual touring plan of being at the park for rope drop, and hitting as many rides as we can right away.

As for the 4th FP, realistically, only 3 of us will be trying to get one for the mountains, so that should help.

It was simple (after learning the interface after a few minutes). There were more than enough times. They will give you 4 different scenarios to choose from based on which rides you pick. Choose whichever one sounds closest (time-wise) to what you want. From there, you can change times for each ride. I had no problem at all in getting the exact times I wanted for each ride. Then again, as I said, I'm just looking to use all my FP+ selections immediately so we can go to using FP the way it was originally intended.

FWIW, I made all our selections on my computer. Later, I went on to the app on my phone and made some adjustments. It was very easy. As long as the app is working properly and quickly, I can't see any problems.

Hi

New to this board. I came here to get advice for picking FP. I have the same travel dates as you do. I am staying at the Poly. HOw is it that you already picked FP?? I can not until tomorrow. Or tonight at midnight.
