The bulk of the questions related to booking a future cruise while onboard. One of the questions suggested they were considering an onboard kiosk to book future cruises, which I think would be great instead of standing in line.

Other questions related to what incentives caused you to book a future cruise while onboard (i.e. - discount, obc, etc.) Maybe they're considering revamping this program.

I just finished the same survey on the same topics. Wonder how many they sent out..

Me too!! So did my friend (who cruised with us in August). She just let me know that she finished it.

Make that 4. I will be honest. I would not want to reshop a cruise on a kiosk. So I put down I'd rather talk to the booking agent. It seems I always have two cruises booked and one is a dummy date.

Yup, just got that same survey. I am glad they are asking my opinion. I would love to have a kisok as I am a hands on person, but I still want to be able to book a dummy date. I wish I could have picked two options for the reason for rebooking onboard though, it's the 10% discount and the onboard credit that I like. :)

What would be GREAT is that if DCL offered a future cruise option, where you only put down a minimal deposit to lock in any onboard benefits and don't have to specify a date. It would end these dummy bookings and make it easier for those of us who are just using the OBB as a "parking spot" for a date in the future. I also got that survey. I was so excited and was hoping it was going to ask about itineraries.

Just finished...hope they are not planning to downsize the OBC or % off.:scared1: Hopefully they are trying to figure out if investing in rebooking kiosks would be worth the $.

I got the survey also!! I was hoping for a PIN code at the end, but no luck!! :sad2: I girl can wish!! :lmao:

Add me to the list that just completed the survey. Personally, my favorite way to rebook onboard is to fill out the paper, have it delivered to my stateroom, and then confirm by telephone. Very easy and no lines.

Just completed one also!
Of course I cheated- I used OTHER in the WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT REBOOKING ONBOARD category.
Then I listed EVERYTHING! The OBC, the stateroom choices/locations, the discounted price, the discounted deposit (that wasn't a choice on the list) and the ability to add my TA to the information so that we could double-dip the OBC from DCL and the TA both.

I also told them that I didn't like the fact that all of the itineraries weren't released yet for me to choose from.

Just finished the survey too. I rebook for both the 10% & the OBC too as they're both equally important, so it's a shame the survey didn't let us choose both. I hope Disney isn't trying to phase out one of those perks.

Just finished mine as well. I was really hoping for a thank you discount or OBC at the end, but no luck.... :rotfl:

:lmao: I did the same thing! Hey - they listed the "Other" option. I just took advantage!

I like the idea of the kiosk. Right now, I usually fill out the card, drop it off and wait for the quote to come back. If I have any questions, I use voice
mail to get the answers.

I also received and took the survey today. I like the idea of a kiosk. We stood in line for awhile to rebook onboard so a kiosk would cut down on the lines and make it easier to confirm the booking is correct.

I received the survey, and I absolutely disagree (and said so in the survey). I would much prefer to talk with a person, ask ideas (they have always been great help onboard when picking a stateroom or date), and enjoy the experience. I no more want to deal with a kiosk than I want a TA who will not answer the phone. To each his own, but direct human interaction is priceless.

That is how I learned the difference between the Cat 3 staterooms. I had no idea the mid ship Cat 3s were larger. If it weren't for the gal at the desk suggesting to us to take the mid ship Cat 3, I would have never known. I'm thankful that she did that. A year later we walked in and I was happy! I would have run down to give that gal a hug if she were onboard!
