Just figured out what my new Stankee Candle smells like.

Just got a "Jack Frost" which I am burning while working. All day people have been coming in saying "That smells SO familiar!"

A client figured it out. It smells like WD-40!

I was dribing today in my new (to me) Jeep. My back seat was forward and it slid back, landed on a can of WD-40 and made the whole can spray out and crush. I couldn't figure out where the smell was coming from. for a long time I thought it was coming from outside. Man my car smells really bad. It was getting me a bit light headed. I don't know how I will get rid of the smell. I know, maybe I can buy one of those Yankee candle car fresheners.

Thanks for the 'tip', Ric! I actually thought this scent might smell like an old freezer that needed defrosting! Either way, it's not something I care to smell!

I smelled that one in the store and have to say "what were they thinking?" crossed my mind.

I'm not particularly crazy about any of Yankee's Christmas scents. I like Buttercream, but that would be classified more as a winter scent than a Christmas scent.

Ya know, I never trust those non-informative scent names. A "festival of lights" shouldn't smell - unless it's on fire! Now sugar cookies - I know what that should smell like! I can't burn it because it makes me EAT! I have to admit that my "Clean Cotton" makes DH think I've been doing laundry -which helps hid the fact that I've been Dissing when I should have been washing. Problem is, he still doesn't have anything to wear.

So far, in an informal survey of all the people who've stopped by the suite the past couple days, all of the men and most of the women agree it smells just like WD-40.

Even more interesting, EVERYONE has said that they kinda like it.
