Just Enough Brownie - Not a pan, just enough for you....

I got this as a twitter video from CoffeeWiz.com where I order my k-cups for my keurig but this has nothing to do with coffee. It was a video showing how to make a brownie in a mug. All you need is a mug, 4 tablespoons of boxed brownie mix (which you can get on sale for $1/box if you watch your store's sale ads), 2 tablespoons of water, and 2 tablespoons of oil (she suggests you can also use applesauce if you are trying to be healthy :rolleyes1) Mix the ingredients in the mug and microwave for 1 min. Voilà! You have one awesome single brownie without having to buy Betty Crocker's Warm Delights. How's that Teresa? I'm trying to save you $$$ :goodvibes

I wish you would have said something...I have a whole book on how to make desserts in a mug!

I think we need to get together & "test" these recipes out....

I was given this recipe about a year or so ago... it really works and if I mights suggest, a scoop of vanilla ice cream works wonders with it as well ;)

Not a savings, but in Brownie related news...I tried the new Nestle Brownie Bites the other day and they were sooooooooooooo good. They are like the Nestle break apart cookies, but they come out not like chocolate cookies, but really little round Brownies. It was like having a whole pan of brownie edges!

I do this a lot, but without the oil or applesauce, and it works pretty well. You can also use cake mix instead of brownie mix.

One of my favorites is to mix 4 tablespoons of spice cake mix, two tablespoons of canned pumpkin puree & a splash of water & microwave for a minute. Yummy, and a source of fiber, to boot. =)

Vanilla ice cream is good on top of all... or try topping chocolate cake with a spoon of Fluff.
