Just doing line at FJ- do we need to stash our stuff?

I want to take my DD10 through the line to see all the details, but she hates intense rides and will not want to ride. Will we have to stash my bag in a locker or can I keep it since we won't be riding? I've read a lot abou people being pulled from line for various things and want to be prepared.

I walked through the line last week with my bag. About 4 or 5 workers along the line questioned me, but I just always said I was not riding. You should have no problems, but they will NOT let you on the ride.

You will be fine. Just be prepared to tell every witch/wizard that you're not riding and they will let you pass. When you reach the final one (after you see the sorting hat), they will direct you to the exit.

Good. We are keeping our stuff, because we will have non-riders in our party, and we plan to pass our stuff off to them to hold while we ride.

Hopefully when they realize that the 8mo old won't be tall enough to ride that they won't question me too much
