Just discovered the joy of Dis Podcasts!

I have had a wonderful time catching up on all the podcasts that I have downloaded on to my iPhone I started playing them about three weeks ago, I have a smile on my face every time I listen,I tune into the podcast while I walk our dog or when I am cooking!
We have been to WDW a few times and didn't think there was much I could learn about the world,not true, my husband comes in after work and now says "what did you learn from the podcasts today"
Thank you so much for the podcasts we maybe thousands of miles across the pond but we dream of being in WDW everyday the podcasts make me feel I am nearer.

I've been listening to the podcasts for a few years now, while being a Dis lurker. I agree about the feeling closer. Each week I feel like I'm hanging with friends in Orlando for a few hours.

It's strange how close I feel to people I've only met once! I truly feel that everytime I listen to a podcast that I'm right there with them...love it!

At least you can say you've met them. I tell people in my everyday life "So Kevin went to Shutters and it was hysterical! Then Pete said..." They just stare at me like I've completely lost my mind.

I've been listening for about a year almost now and I feel the same way. This community is incredible - I don't feel alone anymore and wondering if I'm "weird!" It's great.

Isn't it the strangest thing! The way the show is formatted makes me feel like I'm sitting around the table with them.
