We made a special trip this weekend just to ride it...and I agree, it was AWESOME!!! Glad we went early in the AM, because as the day wore on the lines were out of control...I couldn't believe how long the FP line was...looked like hundreds of people in it, even before noon. Great, great ride :)

:tink: thanks for sharing the good news

unfortunately I have to wait several months to ride

WAAAAAAA:sad:

Just back from riding it. :thumbsup2 AK was PACKED this weekend. We had to wait 2 hours to ride. But well worth the wait.

We're arriving on Wednesday, for a week, what do you think our chances are of getting to ride Everest?????

Do you have to have an AP to ride? Can anyone with a ticket ride? We are headed there next week and were hoping it would be open. We've been watching them build it for what...2 or 3 years???? :Pinkbounc

Anyone with park admission is allowed to ride.
I can't wait until this weekend, I'll finally have the chance to get on it.
My boyfriend adores that ride!!!

The grand opening is April 7th.Disney Vacation Club members are the next to ride the ride I think. No general public yet.(don't quote me thou)

Hey,

Man, i havent been back to disney since 2001........
thank God after all this waiting and begging my parents i will be able to go in the early summer, i am so happy EE will be open!!!! :cool1:

If only I could have made it for the preview>

I could have went on this ride since I was up there from the 21th to 29thand since I have the annual pass ( the 26th to 29th was when those with the annual pass could go on Everest ). But this purty little Flower is scared to death of rides like that with those HUGE drops !!! So I did not go on it and I will not go on it.

What I wish they would do it make a ride that goes threw Expedition Everest like they do with Space Mountain. The wedway people mover goes threw Space Mountain so why could they not do something like this for Everest so purty little Flowers such as myself who are too scared to go on Everest could go on a nice easy ride that takes them threw Everest * Blushes * he he >

O just so everyone knows I am not upset with Disney at all so don't take my post the wrong way. I just wanted to say that I wish they had a ride that went threw Everest and I wanted to be cute about it :)

Now that Everest is up I think that is great for the park.I just got in(11:10pm)from MGM and that place needs an injection of life.

:scared:  :crazy2:

Just kidding, be cute all you want! :rotfl:

I got to ride EE on my birthday during the AP and DVC preview (they did them together). All I can say is that the ride totally kicks butt...I love a good thrill ride, can ride em over and over, but this one took a bit out of me! Rode in the very back row, what an intense ride that was. It is definitely what AK needs to draw the crowds in.
