I did when I made ADR for Cinderella's Royal Table. If it's a buffet meal they won't let you..I only mention this because the CM I spoke with while making ADR's for CRT thought dinner was a buffet. It's not and I knew that but I let her check with her manger. All was well and I got the time I wanted.
Good Luck!!!

Personally, I think ordering apps or dessert are great ways to keep from "over-doing" during vacation. Also a nice way to visit a restaurant you've been wanting to see. Hmmm...nice, I like that. I might have to do that next year!

I can just tell you that my mom and sister made an ADR for Ca Grill near the fireworks time for dessert and they refused to seat them. They instead sat at the bar and had a great time but would not be seated at a table. So I'm assuming they reserve the right during peak hours to refuse the table but most places have a bar you can always eat at instead =0 And some of the desserts are amazing!!
we did this at Marakesh since we didn't think the kids would go for Morroccan food. We didn't make ADR's, but the place was practically empty (about 7:00) and we went up and asked. They kind of looked ot us strange, and the waiter wasn't that friendly about it---but it was SOOOOOO worth it. The dessert was delicious and the belly dancer was so fun. So glad we did this and would do it again.
