I would not plan more than two meals a day. Realize all TS meals will be at least an hour and a half. That means even if you do an 8 am breakfast, you aren't leaving that until 9:30. Then you have 2 1/2 hours until a Noon lunch. Get out of there at 1:30 and you have 4 1/2 hours until your dinner. That schedule may be fine at home, but remember these are pretty big meals and you have to spend at least a 1/2 hour just getting to the place to eat.

I've done the three TS meals a day and at the end of the trip, we hadn't used more than 2 snacks all week. We ended up getting 20 snacks on the last day.

I'd do a TS breakfast, use your snacks for lunch, and then do a 2 meal dinner at a nice place. That worked for us on our last trip. Everyone eat enough and never went hungry, yet we didn't leave the trip thinking all we did was eat.

Looks like you have some excellent choices but I still can't see how people can do the DxDP. Just too much food and a lot of time spent at TS restaurants. Oh well, maybe next trip you can actually visit the parks.:rotfl2:

Thanks for the imput.

We have never had breakfast take 90minutes when we went at 8am, mostly because you are there early enough that there is no one in front of you and you aren't waiting for a table.

A couple of our days we plan to have a later lunch, making ADRS for between 1:30-2:30 and then have a 7/7:30 dinner.

I'm really not worried about travel time b/c all of the am ADR choices are picked with the park we are going to be at in mind, lunch ADRs are based on the part of the park we are going to be in and Dinner ADRs are on our way back from our mid/late day break.

So we see it as

Breakfast until 9am
Park for 3 1/2 to 4 hours (my kids will be 6 and almost 3 and won't go any longer a stretch than that
Lunch
Leave park for 2 1/2-3 hour break at the resort
Dinner
Evening activities

I'm not worried about snack credits b/c DS is too young for the dining plan so he will be using our credits, we always go to Goofy's and get treats to take home and I don't mind using them for bottles of water etc while we are there.

I don't want to put in too many 2 credit restaurants b/c, 1. we like a lot of 1 credit restaurants, 2 they take even longer than TS restaurants and 3, we are paying OOP for DS and the kid prices at Sig restaurants are more expensive.

Your choices look great! We are doing the Deluxe plan in July and I am similar to you and don't worry too much about the time of it. It sounds like you have planned the parks/restaurants well! Enjoy!

Your DS could actually eat off of any other person's plate. My DS was 2 on our most recent trip and we never had to order anything for him. They even split the meals for us if we said he was sharing with his sister, Mom, etc. He has a peanut allergy as well and they would even come out and offer to make him something special to split with my DD. It worked out very well for everyone.
