This is just a curiosity for me, but I have been calling Disney Dining almost daily, adding ADR's (I think I'm done now, though!), and I don't understand why you have to put your phone # or reservation # in before you speak with a CM, if that info doesn't pull up for the CM when you're making your ADR. Wouldn't it be so much easier if all the CM had to do was confirm your name and reservation info, confirm how many people the ADR was for (in case not all of the party was going), and then get a CC# if necessary? Or even if you had to tell the CM your phone or reservation # and then the info was automatically put into the ADR. It just seems it would be simpler on the CM's, quicker, and leave less room for error.

I do not think it is just Disney that does this.. I cannot tell you how many times I have called my medical insurance company, put in all the numbers... group number, ss #, etc... and then get a real live person and have to do it all over again..

Makes me crazy....

I agree Mack, it drives me crazy too! I guess I just expected Disney to be better - not b/c they "have to" or "should", but b/c they can and so often do! Besides, this is the same system that when I made my current trip ressie, they had my childrens' current ages on file from a 2-yr old reservation that we canceled !
