my husband and i have been going back and forth on this. it is no biggie, but something that needs to be settled. when using points if you were to "convert" that to $$ per point what would that be? am i making sense? i know right now for july the AP rate for a studio at OKW/SSR is 164$/night. help!!

Sunday thru Thursday nights in July are 11 points per night at OKW and 29 at SSR. Weekend nights are 27 and 29 points per night respectively. The AP rate applies for all nights with no difference for weekday/weekends.

You should also remember that you will not get daily housekeeping when staying on points - but it may be added for $25 per day in a Studio.

$307 / 150 points gives you $2.05 per point per year.

Then right now Maint is $4.00 average

So ove rthe corse your looking at $6 or $7 per ppoint per year

Highest per night Studio at OKW 36 points (weekend premier) $252
Lowest per night Studio at OKW 8 points (weekday most of the year) $56

Week at your rate 7 nights 1148

Average week on points 98 (dream week) $686

Rent from member 98 at about $11 = 1078

Hope this helps we looked very hard before purchasing and compaired it to what we were staying at the Mods with small discounts.

I THINK maybe you're wondering what I've been wondering. At what cash price does it make more sense to pay members cash than to use points for a room? For example, we could get a 1 BR at HHI for $121/night or 17 points in November. That only works out to a "cost" of less than $8/point. So should we just pay Members cash? In another case, the answer was pretty obvious-a studio was $236/night or 12 points. That's almost $20/point. I know these are two extremes, but is there a $ per point that tips the scales to which makes more sense to do, cash or points?
