Just Curious, Why Magic Morning on Friday of Labor Day Holiday Weekend?

Just wondering why MM is on Friday, September 2nd? And then no MM on Saturday, September 3rd? It actually works better for me, since I will be arriving later in the day on Friday anyway and will mainly do shows and stuff. It means no competition on Saturday with Magic Morning people because I don't have MM.

Just wondering if there is a special event or due to the holiday itself? Thanks!

I assume it's because of half marathon events, though isn't the actual race on Sunday? An actual partcipant probably knows the details.

ETA: Looks like the start tours 5K is on Saturday.

I forgot all about this, lol. Does this mean that traffic will be an issue around the resort? Just started planning a last minute dash to DL and didn't even remember the half marathon.

I will be there Thursday and Friday morning, so the schedule was adjusted specifically for me

OR, it might be caused by the the 5k Fun Run on Saturday morning which goes though both Disneyland and California Adventure

Traffic could be an issue Sunday morning. Saturday for the 5k runners don't go on street roads, we follow the tram road into DL and finish in DCA.

Here's a link on the race website. It has where the roads close as well as the times that they will be closed. Hope it helps!
