At the CSR Pepper Market..have heard of it spoken...am wondering what it is? People seem to love it but am picturing something rather soggy and, I'm afraid, not altogether appetizing!
I think it just means that the sauce is on top so you'd have to eat it with a fork as opposed to a regular burrito that you can pick up and eat. I could be wrong though.
Boo Mc is correct! I was scared of it too, until we saw them ! DH got the beef, and I got the Chicken and we cut them in half so we each had both. Yum! Very big and more than enough for my dinner. Just use a fork !
It must be a regional thing. Here in the South Bend/Michigan City area of Indiana, everybody knows what a wet burrito is. When I lived closer to Chicago, (only about 40-50 miles away) I had never heard of one.
The above is correct, a wet burrrito has either sauce or cheese or both on top. At some restaurants, wet burrito=burrito suizo (suiza?).
