To pay the bills, I work as an accountant for the State of Maryland, for fun I work for the Orioles and Ravens which means this past week I witnessed sports history that I would have rather not seen! My DH is a public defender in Baltimore City.

Sad day....When do the Ravens start the season?

Contrary to what some people think it IS a field, it's just not new!

By no means do I want to offend any working moms and dads but I am very happy to see all the SAHM's or SAHD's . I have no children, but I know raising kids is hard. I think it's great to be able to stay home with them!

Wish I had been a SAHM. Please don't throw rotten tomatoes at me...but the 60's and 70's women's movement made me feel that a SAHM wasn't a job when I was in my late teens, early 20's...that women's movement did some good, but some not so good...but I was able to work part time, or evenings as an RN and DH was home with the kids when they were very young...but to those of you raising little ones,,,,I know this is sounds trite, but they do grow up and you wonder where the years went....

Never saw my dad change a diaper or feed a baby....my DH used to defrost breast milk!

You have to be a SAHM with the hours us UPS drivers work.

Im a nurse (3 jobs...assisted living, skilled, and psych.) AND DH is a tire tech (changes tires on construction equipment, tractor trailers and farm equip etc. etc.)
