Just curious....Has anyone ever NOT been allowed to sail b/c they forgot documents?

Luckily my friends live in Harrisburg, PA and can go over to the Vital Statics office there and get one. It's just a good thing she said something today instead of when we're sitting in Cocoa Beach on the 22nd. Why, oh why can't everyone be such fanatics for detail like me!! ;)
