JUST CURIOUS...Best "Bang for your Buck" with Dining Plan?

Cinderella's Castle is now cost 2 TS credits.
Pepper Market cost just 1 CS but they serve TS priced food.

Do the signature resturaunts generally give less "Bang for the Buck", or would they ordinarily be twice as expensive?

Not all signature resturaunts worth 2 TS credits, like Mickey's Backyard BBQ - regular price $39.01.
Dine at any of the 1 credit TS resturants in WS wouold worth more that that.

Glad I can rely on the DIS instead of CMs! Thanks and sorry for the repeat question. I just figured the Concierge (yes, she was in the IPO) knew what she was talking about! I think:) I'll email her so she gets it straight for others.

I am sorry I hope you did not feel I was insulting your question. This was a big posting topic last fall and I just meant I can't believe it is still happening with the CMs . No topic is ever bad in my opinion even if it has been answered a million times, because if one more person gets the info and it improves their Disney experience thats awesome. Now hopefully there was not some sudden change I am unaware of, but I just pulled the DP file and it still says 1 credit.

Angela Kay - yes, Coral Reef (all Table Service restaurants, actually) has a dessert menu. It's just that the menus you see on allearsnet.com are only what is sent to the site by readers. If, for example, CR's dessert menu is separate, or on the back of the menu, or maybe even on a cart instead of printed, allearsnet wouldn't have that information and so wouldn't include it when they post the menu.

For table service we had the best food at Le Cellier and our bill was $200.

For counter service we had the best and most plentiful food at Pepper Market at CSR, and our bill for lunch was $70.

We stayed at CSR recently using the Dining Plan and I totally agree with using your CS credits at Pepper Market. Hands down, the best CS deal we found.

Glad to see LeCellier and Kona listed multiple times-- we are onsite for just two nights and have the dining plan two nights... and those are where our ADRs are for! Kona is an old favorite, but this is our first time to try Le Cellier.

Am I allowed to have steak two nights in a row? :scratchin

Does the meal plan cover the 10% gratuity at Pepper Market?

I was thinking, the "biggest bang for your buck" iteams are usually Steaks. Do we really want to have steak every meal just becasue it give us "biggest bang for your buck"? Or should we order things that we actually like, but not necessary the most expensive item on the menu.

We simply ordered what we liked and wanted on the Dining Plan. I would never order something just because it's the most expensive item, if it wasn't something I wanted or liked.

We were offered a great variety to choose from at the Pepper Market and we sampled many things! Had steak, rotisserie chicken, pizza, breakfast platter etc. It was all very good!

I agree with diznyfanatic, the best way to enjoy whatever we like and not have to think about the price tag.

I'm looking at the menu for Coral Reef and they don't have any desserts listed. Do they serve dessert? :confused3

There are desserts listed in the lunch menu. I'll bet they are the same for dinner...maybe they just forgot to add them to the diner page.

I was just curious...if you are on the Dining Plan, what restaurants would give you the "best bang for your buck," as the saying goes. The all-around "top" restaurants in your opinion, for food AND atmosphere?

I think the OP meant the whole dining experience, not just money-wise, but atmosphere and other things, too. :goodvibes

We are on the dining plan, and according to our TA, AAA the papers that she gave us, the Pepper Market isn't listed as one of our options. As a matter of fact no where in CSR is.
Is there somewhere else I should be looking?
TIA :)

Yes, the official list on the Disney Website. Your TA has obsolete documents. When the plan was first introduced a year ago, none of the restaurants at CSR were included. In fact, they weren't "officially" included when we stayed there last March (although they'd let you use your CS vouchers at PM if you asked nicely!). However, later that spring they were officially included in the plan when they expanded the WS restaurants also.
