Just Completed a Disneyland AP Survey...

I received the email about a half hour ago and immediately completed it. Lots of questions about how I perceive the value of the pass, why I picked the type of pass I have, what benefits I use, how far in advance I plan my trips (??!!?), who my traveling party is, why and when I visit (as in do you just hang out? ride rides?, more likely to travel certain days of week or seasons, do I value being able to go unplanned, do I go to visit new attractions/shows, etc.). Very interesting!!

Changes forthcoming? Anybody else get this survey and what was your impression?

Haven't gotten it but those are all questions I would like to answer!
It was a lengthy survey, let me know if you get it! Something else I didn't mention in the original post is several questions regarding how long I have held an AP, and how I view holding an AP as in do I view myself as part of the Disney heritage, as a part of tradition, do I consider myself to be a Disney fan in general, do people come to me for advice on their Disney vacation, do I bring people to Disney when they come from out of town, do I hold AP to other parks such as Universal or Six Flags.

It kind of struck me as a complete profile of what kind of guest I am, whether I am somebody who is taking up space (the "hang out" questions, other questions about "do I go visit whenever I have free time" "do I see a visit as a special occasion or something to do when I am bored") or if I am using my benefits and spending money in the park on a regular basis (there was a question about bringing food into the park) but also gave me the vibe that they are considering changes to the benefits and even considering making unplanned visits less of a convenience (perhaps something to do with MaxPass..?) Of course now I am rethinking some of my answers lol

I just filled out mine the other day as well. It seemed to ask more granular questions based on your responses to previous questions that you marked not as favorably, so they definitely seem to be taking this seriously. Unlike some surveys where you can tell that they are canned questions and nothing will come from it.

I am not currently an AP holder (though I have been in the past) but was sent and completed two surveys after a recent visit. Both of them included many of the same questions mentioned above (with the obvious exception of how long have you had your pass). One of them did ask questions about being "part of Disney heritage", considering myself a fan, do people come to me for advice, and holding APs to other theme parks.

I also received it and completed it right away.. I am not an AP holder either, and I live in Nevada.

I received that about a month or two ago and filled it out.

What did y'all think of the survey? It definitely made me feel that they are doing serious in-depth guest research, just with the length of the survey and specificity of the questions. It seems like there are a lot of questions they are asking all guests, but there were lots of questions specifically targeting AP ticket benefits as well. Were there questions in the other surveys about your ticket type and the associated benefits such as a Magic Morning?

Edit: Wanted to add that I've held an AP for 2 years and this is the first survey of this length and detail that I've received, that's why I'm suspecting that it's more than just a standard guest info survey :chat:

I also received and competed, sounds like, the same survey awhile ago. Expressed all my feelings about how I feel about the value, or I should say decline of value, of my AP....which I've had for many years and, even though it breaks my heart, will more than likely not be renewing this year.

I received and submitted the survey. Not too interesting. Seemed like a standard survey. They send them out often, especially after a visit.
Yeah they do, this is maybe my 3rd or 4th survey in the 2 years I've had AP, but nothing of this length and depth before. It was just my initial reaction that this was more than just standard info gathering... but Maybe it's just that since I've held it this long it's time to get some real information out of me haha ::yes::

I got an email this morning that is for a different kind of survey that would involve a 30 minute interview (using a webcam) regarding parking. They're offering $60. I signed up with a pre-survey thing but there were lots of "space is very limited" messages and I'm a common demographic, so I'm not holding my breath... wish I would have seen the email earlier!

Wow, I totally would have done that. Definitely did not get that email. I don't get any emails about annual passholders though. Should I be?

Eh, I get occasional emails about AP things. I never get invited to the special events, though. They take my email in the parks pretty frequently, which leads to a lot of surveys...

This parking one had a part where I had to select that I had an AP, so it doesn't seem like it only went to APs.
