So I just received word from our title company that our new Boardwalk contract closed today. There are some points that will be expiring at the end of the year and we want to use them As it looks like getting reservations going into years end are getting difficult
Will I see the new contract in my DVC login once Disney records the deed? I know points don’t get applied right away is it bad form to call member services and ask to have the points loaded once I see the contract?

It will take 2-3 weeks for Disney to load the contract and process the points after the contract is recorded by Orange County. The only part that people here have had success speeding up by calling is the step where you can see the contract in your dashboard but you can’t see the points yet - call then and they often can load the points immediately.

To add, once the contract is showing up, I would wait 24 hours before trying MS to get points loaded as MA has to send them the information once they create the account for you.

Many reports are that waiting that day leads to success in getting them loaded quickly. When you do call MS, I would also tell them you really need to get something booked so the CM may go the extra step to contact the team to get them loaded then and help you get something booked!
