Just checked in, the room is BEAUTIFUL! I am in LOVE! I love the colors and the flat screens are awesome. I love the kitchen, especially the tiles-the sticky mess with hair in the fridge, not so much, neither was the dirty (and I mean caked on brown stuff) silver ware, but I am one of the freaks that cleans the room, runs the dishwasher and uses their owns sheets and towels, so I took care of that on my own... I want to add on points here so it can be my first choice all the time. :goodvibes

Now to my questions...

I am in a boardwalk view, one bedroom, I seem to have two balconies, one off of the living room, another off of the bedroom. Are all the rooms like that, or did I win the balcony lottery?? :)

Other question, are there cereal bowls in the kitchens of the one bedroom? I can't find any, I seem to remember a list that I can check, should that be in the room, or is it here on the disboards?

I have only stayed at BWV once, but my home is set up very similar. There should be cereal bowls there. I suggest calling the front desk. I believe most, if not all have separate balconies for both the BR and living room. Some may be connected.
You can't go wrong adding on there.
Enjoy!

I've stayed in several BWV 1 bedrooms. Some have one long balcony, some have as you have, some only have 1 small balcony.

There should be cereal bowls. Check in the cabinets on the left as I recall. There should be an inventory list on the back of one of the cabinet doors.

Some of the BW view rooms have humongous balconies but they have short walls instead of slats. These balconies are covered and almost like having a porch. The downside to them is that you need to stand up to really see the BW. There are a couple of rooms that have only a bedroom balcony or only a living room balcony, but the vast majority of 1 bedrooms have either 1 long or 2 short balconies.
Glad you are loving your room. Too bad the mousekeeping was less than it should have been. Have fun!

Oh yeah! We had one of those rooms with the long, humongous balconies on our first BWV stay. LOVED it! Even with the solid wall I thought that was truly hitting the balcony lottery. Tons of room and I actually thought it was a bonus having the solid wall. You could have some privacy from the boardwalk but also the benefit of the view! :thumbsup2

We had one too!. Right about Thimbles and Threads. Instead of sitting in the chairs and enjoying the view, I climbed up on the top of the "wall" and sat there. It was plenty wide to accommodate my rear and my food. DH and I ate on the balcony quite a bit.
